Why I Love Hosting Events....

Hello! 

I'm LadyVee DaPoet, certified event planning professional and creative entrepreneur. I truly love hosting events for some interesting reasons. 

• Escaping the Normal Routine of Life : There's nothing better than putting an event on your calendar that is brand new and out of the norm of the day to day grind. It gives you something to look forward to and prepare for (new outfit excuse? yes, please!)

  
  

• The opportunity to network with others: Bringing people together (that might not normally be in the same room together) gives the chance to find out who you can network and collaborate with to achieve your goals. 

  
  

• Sense of Hospitality: It's rewarding to me to provide a cool space for people to relax, be entertained, learn about creativity and enhance their own art, etc. It's just fun to be surrounded by tasty treats and good conversation!

  
  

• Celebration and Tradition: I like to have monthly themes to the events I host. 1st Day of Fall Celebration, You Gots ta Chill Edition open mic...you name it. It's a way to create milestone memories on people's Instagram pages and on their hearts. 😎

  
  

• Building Community and Relationships: This is, by far, the most important reason. People have come to our open mic variety show events and found a connection that they wouldn't have found otherwise. When you build an event around a shared interest, you can make lasting friendships and grow your craft in ways that are truly awesome!
